GKD Sambesi

Oslo’s mountain, Holmenkollen, boasts a ski jump clad with stainless steel woven metal mesh. More than 14,000 square feet of Sambesi light and PC-Sambesi mesh were used from GKD, which contributes to ensuring the skiers are protected from harsh winds. About 315 units of Sambesi light measuring 39 by 3 feet were fitted to the steel structure, in addition to 130 units of PC-Sambesi rod mesh, which were tilted laterally and fitted in the steel structure on the inside of the jump platform.
