At 24″ wide and bright green in color, the Bumling pendant was a spectacle when it was first produced in 1968; most Swedish luminaires then were small and neutral-colored. But the design by Anders Pehrson—appropriately named “Bumling,” which is Swedish for “boulder”—became a classic. Ateljé Lyktan is now rereleasing it at its original size and in powdercoated red or white, or in brushed aluminum. atelje-lyktan.se
