Nov. 19 – BuildingGreen, publisher of Environmental Building News and the GreenSpec Directory, announced a new online information resource focused on green home building and remodeling. GreenBuildingAdvisor.com, which was introduced at Greenbuild in Boston this week and will officially launch at the International Builders’ Show in Las Vegas in January, will feature expert advice, construction details, and real-world tools for builders, remodelers, and residential architects.

“GreenBuildingAdvisor.com will be the most comprehensive, useful, and easy-to-use online resource serving the residential green building community,” says Peter Yost, BuildingGreen director of residential services.

The Green Building Advisor, available on a subscription basis, will offer a green building encyclopedia, the GreenSpec green product guide, and in-depth advice from green building experts on blogs, forums, and question-and-answer pages. To access the site, members will pay an annual fee of $150.
