Project Description

Promoting its adaptogenic coffee to the Pacific Northwest, Wunderground fosters wellness and connection to nature and health. The folks on the team enlisted Best Practice to design their flagship location, looking for a calm yet engaging atmosphere for people to enjoy.

Playing off the whimsical branding, the design team created an open, airy cafe that highlights the good vibes and warm feelings of Wunderground. Tile wainscotting, bright pops of color, warm woods, and beautiful lighting complement a selection of custom-designed art installations, including a psychedelic “nurse log” replete with hand-crochet fungi. Hidden messages, notes, and vivid imagery inspire visitors to learn more about adaptogenic products, mushroom lore, foraging, and how to relax and embrace life.
