Project Description
Xi’An Vanke Center locates in the High-Tech Zone of Xi’An, 2km away from the High-Tech Zone CBD area. This project rethinks about the program and spatial experience of a typical super-tall tower. As a result, it leads to a design which consists of multiple spatial attributes in the air. These activities are still closely related to the programs of the tower, but they lead to different uses of the space and as an outcome, diverse and interesting spaces in the air are created: Sky Ballroom, Cloud Conference Hall, Floating Showroom, Sustainable Atriums etc. User of this tower will find a captivating journey rather than a regular experience while visiting. With the attempts to re-imagine the possibilities of spaces in a glass bottle, the design intention of Xi’An Vanke Center is to make a paradigm for our on-going exploration of super-tall tower design in next generation.
