Project Description
Case Western University-affiliated University Hospitals engaged Array to provide system-wide master planning services to assist with capital prioritization for facility improvements and projects that became known as ‘Vision 2010.” Array, in association with HKS, Inc., was commissioned to design a key component of the Vision 2010 strategy: a state-of-the-art hospital in a growing eastern part suburb of Cleveland. The new Ahuja Medical Center features a 144-bed state-of-the-art hospital and attached Medical Office Building designed to accommodate future bed towers (scalable to 600). The second floor Interventional Medical Platform accommodates inpatient/outpatient surgery, interventional cardiology / radiology and endoscopy with complete separation of inpatient and outpatient services. Physician offices and community outreach and education capabilities are also included in the design.
