Project Description

UrbanWorks was tasked with designing the new 9,000 square foot UIC Math and Science Learning Center for the University of Illinois at Chicago. The center will play a critical role in UIC’s efforts to support the academic success of students and improve student retention and graduation rates. In order to enhance student success and better serve the learning needs of today’s students, the center renovates a former science library into a flexible, vibrant and inspirational space consisting of multiple team learning spaces, one on one tutoring areas, laptop kiosks and administrative support space.
