Project Description
Designed for aging-in-place this ADU is a single level with barrier-free living. Clad in cedar siding, the simple form is stained dark with warm natural wood highlighting where the volume is carved out at the back patio. With the small size of an ADU, we made the interior feel larger by connecting all rooms to the outdoors and using borrowed views of the garden through large windows and doors.
