FROM THE ARCHITECTS:
A neighborhood bistro inspired by the atmospheres of local haunts from Taiwan to Paris, Status Kuo is a modest twist on a local staple. The chef’s desire to build familiar meals with unusual flavor combinations and high quality ingredients is echoed in the design through use of a minimal yet familiar palate with subtle overlay of pattern and detail. The egg yolk yellow interior window offers a friendly glowing beacon to the neighborhood through the deep green exterior. Earthy color and hand-drawn brand identity round out the space as a second kitchen- a friendly place we’d like to return to habitually.
