Project Description

Rolling Hills Community Church, Franklin, TN

Rolling Hills Community Church was founded in 2002. With only 15 members, their first services were held at an apartment complex clubhouse. 17 years later, the church has grown exponentially and now has 3 campuses, with a new campus opening in the fall of 2021.

In the spring of 2020, after researching many theming companies, Chase Baker, Family Pastor, reached out to the team at Worlds of Wow to help RHCC redesign their children’s area. He had a vision of a modern, sophisticated, but still fun environment for the children in his ministry. The church used gender-neutral colors with modern lines and lighting. The luminous backlit focal wall represents the idea that faith can move mountains. Worlds of Wow created the wall using digitally printed plexiglass, paint, DMX LED lights, bubble-free MDF that looks like reclaimed wood and features movable magnetic picture frames.
The stage in the large group room uses layered textures consisting of brick, wood, digitally printed applique, and industrial elements made from foam. The stage has barn doors that open to expose a large television used for watching faith-based programs. The creative team at Worlds of Wow designed every area of the project to reflect Rolling Hills’s brand experience while bringing joy and excitement to the church’s youth and families.
