From the start, the aesthetics of exposed wood structure inspired the design of the Rocky Mountain Bank’s flagship and headquarters building in Jackson, Wyoming. ‘We utilized exposed wood structural elements as a dominant part of the design to provide a welcoming and good-natured environment,’ says Bob Heneage of Plan One/Architects. ‘First impressions are particularly important upon first walking into a bank, which led to the choice of a wood structure to express a kinship with the living world.’
