Project Description
Reinbolt Hall was constructed in 1905 and was in dire need of structural repairs. A Structural Engineer who specializes in historical buildings was hired by the University to study what would be the best solution to have the building repaired. The structure was underpinned to add support, footings were drilled in the basement and the perimeter was excavated. The scope was increased include as much infrastructure as possible in this first phase of design and construction grew to include regrading to improve site drainage from the building with upgrades to the utilities and infrastructure. The addition of accessibility ramps and a new elevator brought the building up to Code and ADA compliance.
