Project Description

I suggest to consider the renovation project MetLife Building facades and solve the following tasks in accordance with the program of The 2030 Challenge:
1. Integrating the new design in the urban ensemble of New York with minimal damage to the aesthetics of historically significant buildings.
2. Reduction to zero costs for energy consumption of the building, due to never-before-used duplication and joint use transparent solar cell with smart glass, regulating light intensity in the sq ft glass curtain wall. The estimated capacity of more than 1,000 MW. accumulated solar panels with an area of over 670,000 sq ft.
3. The design features a hinged facade, enlarge the usable area of the building at 42,400 sq. ft. This makes the reconstruction of the facade, cost-effective. 4. Thanks to this corner of the glazing energy efficient polymers achieved a complete and accurate control of insolation areas: the absorption of ultraviolet rays in the summer.
4. Thanks to the renovation of the facades MetLife transparent solar panels, it will be possible to provide electric power supply neighboring buildings of cultural heritage.
