FROM THE ARCHITECTS:
What could an exhibition space in the city’s complex network of underground passageways become? This renovation of a storefront— underneath Chicago’s Loop—transforms an anonymous space into a distinct temporary gallery. p11’s unique architectural atmosphere draws from the vernacular language of the city’s patchwork commercial spaces through signage and materiality.
