Within a new Midtown Atlanta headquarters, NCR looks to create a high-tech, urban-centered environment for attracting the best and brightest talent, inspiring employees and exciting customers. Located near area universities and at the nucleus of Atlanta’s technology district, NCR’s iconic form joins a growing urban live-work-play movement redefining today’s city centers.
Sloping glass panes define the main tower and create a sense of movement across the building as day shifts to night. The transparent glass facades reveal the activities on every floor to passersby, while giving employees sweeping views of the city. The architecture draws inspiration from NCR’s mission to create an exciting, forward-thinking place to work. The sequential experience of users is consciously shaped from the street-level entry hall, to an amenity-rich sky garden, to the tower’s next-generation office environment that offers flexible work and meeting spaces. The resulting new headquarters promises a transformative workplace to foster an open, engaged and highly collaborative culture and inspire tomorrow’s innovative thinkers.
