Built and developed by Brickless Developer Group, Modern Towers is an apartment complex comprised of 10 buildings that range from six to eight stories in Homestead, Florida.
The first phase of the development is marked by the construction and completion of the first four buildings which were unveiled in 2022. The remaining six buildings are underway and on track to be delivered by summer 2023. The complete complex consists of 665 two and three bedroom units spread throughout the development. Brickless Developer Group is the first company in the U.S. to implement the gang form system construction method, and the Modern Towers is the first apartment complex to be built in the U.S. using the gang form method.
The Modern Towers apartments are built with monolithic concrete systems and impact windows which makes the structure resistant to almost any scale of hurricanes. Amenities offered to residents includes a club house, swimming pool and covered parking. Residences include contemporary design and spacious open layouts.
The gang form system is an outside formwork that helps time reduction, structural accuracy, safety and convenience for high-rise buildings of this stature. The concrete formwork construction process has proven itself effective for single-family construction, multifamily residential and commercial developments across the globe. The industrialized approach offers many advantages that would offer a a shorter timeline than traditional construction, this process is more time effective while remaining at a lower cost.
