Located a couple miles from their Mill Creek studio, Estate Homes designed a forever townhome for an elderly couple. Although the couple was in their later years, they took many risks and were active participants throughout the design process. For instance, one of the homeowners, Nancy, adamantly requested blue accents throughout the home (it is her favorite color, after all). Estate Homes delivered by installing navy blue Bellmont Cabinets in the kitchen, deep blue scalloped tile in the lower-level guest bathroom, and blue furnishings throughout. Since the couple was in their ‘80s, Estate Homes implemented subtle safety measures throughout the home like double-sided handrails, a wide kitchen walkway, and grab bars in the master bathroom. The home would eventually be inherited by Nancy’s son, so Estate Homes designed the space with both family members in mind.
