Project Description

Similar to the Inpatient Pavilion at Lakeland Regional Medical Center, the Marie Yeager Cancer Center provides an interdisciplinary team in an environment designed to promote healing. The design incorporates elements previously shown to positively impact clinical outcomes at Lakeland, including a healing garden, natural light, soothing artwork, and a rooftop garden that collectively create a healing environment.

The Marie Yeager Cancer Center oncology services include diagnostic imaging, outpatient surgery, laboratory services, a resource library, infusion services, physical therapy, lymphedema services, hospice, and an on-site boutique for current and former cancer patients. In an effort to enhance collaboration, shared space is provided for community organizations such as the American Cancer Society.
