Project Description

Awards: Diploma of the Union of Architects of Russia of the «Zodchestvo 2015″ international festival in the nomination «Territory Development Complex Projects» of the «New Town Planning» review competition. The award was given to the project customer — «Rocket Group» Management Company

«Karvila»- is a new picturesque comfort-class district located on the Okkervil river bank in Leningradsky region. The project attracts attention by singularity of its architecture, infrastructure and engineering solutions. Comfortable environment for life, leisure, sports, study and work will be arranged within the territory which will combine the urban lifestyle comfort with surrounding nature landscapes.
New region is well-balanced and diversified territory with possibility to choose working places, different types of houses, full of social, commercial and cultural objects. The building maximum height is 12 storey. 4-5 storey buildings are designed within the areas adjoining the river.
Territory total area – 160 ha,
Residential development total area- 107 ha,
Housing stock total area – 1 130 000 sq.m.
Total number of residents – 32 000 people

All the territory is divided into eight quarters that include 105 lots meant for different purposes. 20% of the total area are the public purposes lots (schools, kindergartens, museums, libraries, garages, offices), 32% of the total area are residential houses lots, 10% – parks and leisure zones, 38% – communal area. Boulevards and streets are designed between the quarters, as well as the driveways between the lots of one quarter.
