Project Description

A sober elegance is the design seal of this hotel inspired in the famous city by the river Pontevedra in Spain. Even though this hotel is located in Veracruz —one of the most important cities in the Gulf of Mexico— DIN interiorismo was asked to remain as far away of the typical design of a beach hotel as possible.

The whole project has a distinguished international look emphasized in the combination of colors and natural elements. All the finishes and furniture were selected to enhance the innate textures of each material that complement the whole atmosphere. Dark and light porcelain floors mark the boundaries between each area inside the room, creating a contrast with the opposite colors selected in every case.

The color palette is based on neutral light and dark colors with accents given by different shades of green in some of the walls and furniture. The lighting design was done by the combination of direct and indirect lamps resulting in an atmosphere that may be as bright or tenuous according to guests needs.
