Project Description
This project involved the documentation of existing historical building and reuse plans for a high school in Emirgan. The new plan proposed the use of the existing gymnasium on the ground floor as a multipurpose hall with removable partitions. The main entrance doors on the north facade have been revitalized as in the original use. The classrooms on first and second floors have been redesigned for better use of spaces. The overall scheme emphasized effective use of the building with a limited budget.
