Project Description

In this project, we added a rooftop addition to a brick townhouse built in 1836 in the Greenwich Village Historic District. The addition provides a new guest suite and front terrace. As the addition is partly visible from public streets, the stair bulkhead was sloped and covered in gray slate responding to an adjacent slate mansard roof. The main body of the addition was clad in vertical black zinc.

We also furnished the entire home.
