Project Description

Our competition-winning elegant designs for the Eton Manor Olympic site gave careful consideration to the future legacy of the site, connection to the surroundings and ability to inspire athletes. The site will be developed in three stages providing

– world-class training facilities for the London 2012 Olympics, including temporary aquatic training facilities and changing facilities

– a venue for the Paralympics tennis events, including 9 competition tennis courts with temporary seating for 10,500 spectators, as well as ticket control point, merchandising and food points and further training and changing facilities.

– a legacy of a permanent, flexible 5,000 seat hockey stadium and indoor tennis centre, including changing facilities, along with other community sporting and leisure facilities.
