Project Description
Empire Stores will be a new mixed-use facility along the waterfront in DUMBO, Brooklyn. Maintaining the building’s original 19th century structure, the 662,000 square-foot space is set to be a huge draw for DUMBO residents as it will include office and retail spaces, restaurants, a food hall, event spaces, and a rooftop beer garden. The building will contain bridges, suspended stairs, and sharp profiles of glass and steel, as well as over 28,000 square feet of private terraces with unobstructed views of lower Manhattan and the Brooklyn Bridge. Additionally, the building will include a 7,000-square-foot public rooftop.
