Project Description

The Empire Southwest new Component Rebuild Center (CRC) and Administration Offices project consists of approximately 130,000 square feet of new construction that will significantly expand the existing facility at its original location. This new construction includes a single story component rebuild center warehouse and two-story administrative offices that will be compatible and consistent with the existing Empire facilities located on the property today, comprised primarily of concrete tilt up panels, exposed steel, glass and masonry. Likewise, at all new landscape areas the landscape palette and density will reflect the character of the indigenous species of plant materials currently in place at the existing facility. The project includes a fluids testing lab, engine and transmission dynamometer testing shops, and a full function paint shop. An equipment display area will be provided at the northwest corner of the site, to allow Empire to showcase and display large tractors and other equipment and machinery. The project also includes two new covered parking areas which utilize elevated equipment platforms for photovoltaic systems providing a large portion of the electrical needs of the entire campus.
