Project Description
The Grossmont Union High School District entrusted HED with the conceptual development and design of a new multi-functional Event Center which represents the local heritage of El Capitan High School while providing them with new preforming arts facilities which match their local bond criteria.
The 15,886 SF complex consists of an event space, lobby, concessions, band room, practice rooms, dance studio, drama classroom and restrooms. The result is a welcoming new Event Center for the students and community of Lakeside; a facility where each space, whether indoor or outdoor, has multi-functionality; and promotes the school motto of “Vaquero Pride.”
