Project Description

On a modest plot in Goirle the Netherlands which proved difficult to sell, we have designed a plan that best leverage the opportunities of the site. The building plot is situated at the middle of the plot. It was this building regulation that gave rise to design the master volume as small as possible, leaving plenty of backyard remained. This two-storey main volume has an industrial character. The black tight ribbed steel stands out with horizontal bands in the façade. The low-rise volume is made of a fiber cement slab in various sizes. The living space on the ground floor level is transparently as a continuous open space designed . The large windows give a clear view of both front and rear of the plot. On the floor this window strip is made narrower. Solar protection ensures that each space can be individually chosen to blind.
