Project Description

Design concept is based on a passive solar modular design, each of the four modules has the same single sloped roof or wedged shape with the same placement of window openings.

The four modules are comprised of a Sleeping Module, a living Module, an Entry Module, and a Service (garage) Module.
The Modules are oriented to take full advantage of the sun and allow for natural daylight to filter throughout the home during the daylight and early evening.

The Living Module consists of a Great Rm, a true Galley styled Kitchen, and a Formal Dining Room. The Kitchen is located in the center of the Living Module to act as the Central Core of the residence.
This orientation allows for full views from the kitchen work station onto the wooded ravine at the rear of the site.
