D.C. United released new renderings of the Populous-designed soccer stadium on its Buzzard Point site. The renderings feature a partial roof over the stands and the stadium is expected to hold 18,000 to 23,000 people. Populous Senior Principals Jon Knight and Joe Spear have said that they “wanted to create a stadium that would bring fans close to the action.
