Project Description

Gilbane and Perkins Eastman are designing a new building to replace DC Public Library‘s Cleveland Park branch. At a public meeting on Oct. 6, 2015, the design team revealed a concept design for the new structure. The existing library is scheduled to be demolished in 2016, and the new building will open in the fall of 2017. Perkins Eastman also designed the city’s Deanwood Community Center and Library.
