Project Description
Embarc Studio was commissioned to design a new single family house on an existing 11,600 SF lot in West Newton. The narrow constraints of the lot produced a ‘bar shaped’ building which was pushed well off the street into the middle of the deep lot. The modern design is playful with a spin on the traditional New England style home where pitched roofs were turned into dramatic, light filled double height volumes.
