Project Description

This fast track Design/Build Dining Hall will provide the students at George Fox a modern dining facility, available 24/7. Features include a light-filled dining room with an approach that offers students options around the clock, a coffee bar, dividable space to serve many banquet functions, and a focus on natural, organic foods. Using natural materials and taking advantage of natural light, the design creates a warm, home-like, yet modern facility. The new Dining Hall at George Fox University is a modern dining facility designed for round the clock use, providing students with a comfortable place to gather and replenish throughout the day. It includes a coffee bar, a dividable space to serve multiple banquet functions, and extensive views into the surrounding forest. Using natural materials and taking advantage of the natural light, the design of the New Dining Hall creates a modern, home-like facility that is both spacious and cozy.
