Project Description

FROM THE DESIGNER:

This Butterfly shaped mid-century home was restored with the original design intent of the house and modernize with unique custom contemporary details. Great care and attention was provided to revitalize the house to today’s contemporary luxury standards. The original Krisel plan has been respected and retained, but has been extended to create a large additional bedroom and lounge, framing views around the pool and spa area, towards the mountains. The interior has been carefully re-crafted to flow with the original plan. Large windows and open sliders have been added to allow natural light to fill every room, enhancing the indoor | outdoor living experience by framing connections to the desert landscape. A thoughtful mix of vintage and modern furnishings, art and special materials work together with a thematic design approach to each room, creating a fresh and inviting interior. Designed as a special retreat for a Palm Springs lifestyle get away.
