Project Description
Build-to-Lease speculative new industrial warehouse construction. The project utilizes NFPA standard fire suppression hoses with a pressurized water holding cistern. A unique aspect of the project is an integrated US-manufactured airbag-lift adjustable ramp system for loading and unloading different truck heights and sizes. The project utilizes all LED-integrated lighting systems and solar powered parking lot fixtures to reduce operating costs. The second level mezzanine was built utilizing fire rated Type-X drywall to meet US fire-rated assemblies. The all metal-clad building steel structure was also designed to conform to AISC standards. The project brings US construction standards to Guatemala and exceeds normal building construction types found nationally.
