Project Description

The Bestoff Sculpture Garden bridge at the New Orleans Museum of Art was conceived by artist Elyn Zimmerman and Blake Ogden (Graphic Artist) as a functional piece of art. The bridge, a short distance from the Mississippi River, represents the path of the great river over thousands of years with each color representing a different path.
Constructed of 7 panels – 72” x 120” x 2” thick – Pulp Studio utilized different print layers to allow the artists’ imagery to be seen as a layered image rather than one flat image. (UL Listed top flooring surface with multiple lites of low iron glass with ceramic decoration laminated into a single composite.)
