Project Description

Vancouver, British Columbia – MulvannyG2 worked in collaboration with Urban Outfitters, Inc. to create a unique shopping experience catering to Anthropologie’s eclectic female clientele. The exterior of the store, located on Granville Street in the heart of Vancouver’s retail center, utilizes reclaimed cedar which folds inside the store to create engaging interior spaces. Reclaimed materials, including the white oak flooring, are used throughout the interior of this two-story, 10,000 square foot shopping atmosphere, while an existing skylight becomes a focal point for a “feature wall”, creating an aesthetically warm feeling with various finishes. This one-of-a-kind design is of timeless permanence where retail exhibits can be adapted to different merchandising layouts as needed throughout the year, but the overall aesthetic and fascinating retail experience remains the same. This supports Anthropologie’s ever-changing vignettes and enhances the customer experience, enticing them to peruse longer and purchase more.
