Project Description

Designed for an acclaimed video editor and architectural photographer, this upstate New York home was a truly unique gut renovation. The existing home had character and qualities that deserved to be kept intact, however the layout of certain social and private spaces were not being utilized to their fullest potential. Walls and finishes were removed completely to allow for the updates, which feature a solid oak and steel cantilevered staircase up to a loft that had been closed off previously.
