Project Description

This new 10,000 S.F. palliative care hospice will allow American Hospice to move their services from St. Joseph’s Hospital to a more modern and caring facility. A connecting corridor will allow patients to be transported from the hospital to the new facility without having to travel outdoors.

The building contains 12 resident rooms with private bathrooms, two(2) separate areas for families, visitors and resident, and all required staff support spaces.

The use of soothing finishes and details create a calming, therapeutic and pleasant environment that is sensitive to the specialized needs of the residents. The design also maintains the privacy and integrity of the patients, while maximizing operational efficiencies, familial comfort, and staff satisfaction.
