Project Description

443 Greenwich Street in Tribeca was originally designed in 1883 by Charles C. Haight as a warehouse for a book bindery company. Developer MetroLoft converted this 7 story 200,000 square foot factory into 53 condo units, including 45 lofts and 8 penthouses and features a 71 foot indoor swimming pool, children’s playroom, landscaped roof terrace, fitness center and private fitness studios. It also features a 4,000 square foot courtyard in the center of the surrounding building. The lofts range from 2,000 to 5,000 square feet and the penthouses range from 3,500 to 9,500 square feet. The project features a range of framing materials for the windows & doors, from thermally broken stainless steel at the lobby, mahogony landmark at the lofts and thermally broken bronze on the penthouses. With some of the priciest listings in downtown New York City, 443 Greenwich has become the premier housing location for Tribeca’s elite. Architecture and interiors by Cetra Ruddy.
