Project Description

The cable and net structure designed by Frei Otto was used for the German Pavilion at the 1967 International and Universal Exposition in Montreal. The project was built ahead of time in Germany, and then constructed on site in a short amount of time. The pavilion was noted for its grace and originality, and an early example of tents that Otto later became known for.
