Users of EADOC LLC’s Web-based construction management application now have easier, faster access to two of the American Institute of Architects’ (AIA) most frequently used contract documents. AIA’s G702 – 1992, Application and Certificate for Payment, and G703 – 1992, Continuation Sheet, are now integrated into the EADOC system.
Designed to be used during the design and construction phases to manage project information, EADOC allows each member of a project team—contractors, architects, engineers, consultants, and clients—to create, change, and share project documents and financial information quickly and easily. The application handles all types of projects, from bid/build and design/build to CM at-Risk and lease/lease back. By automatically populating forms and documents with project data and eliminating the need to enter duplicate payment information in two systems, EADOC streamlines workflow and saves the project team time, according to the company.
This is just a small part of the AIA’s larger efforts over the past year to improve access to its library of contract documents.
