Portland, Maine, architect Will Winkelman has a knack for seeing architectural potential in commonplace industrial artifacts. A beer keg becomes a barbecue grill; miscellaneous fittings, a chandelier. In my opinion, though, this bus takes the cake. Refitted for a client, the 1959 Chevrolet Viking serves as guest quarters and feaures a queen bed, plumbing, and electricity. Superb. –b.d.s.
