Residential Design and Building Idea Exchange

Residential architects and custom builders in the greater Boston area are invited to attend a moderated discussion on topics related to designing and building a house.

On June 19 the Boston Society of Architects (BSA) will be hosting a Residential Design Committee meeting. Open to any architects, designers, and builders interested in discussing current issues in residential architecture, the meeting will be led by the Committee’s Chairs, Jarod Galivin of Frank Shirley Architects and Olaf Vollertsen of Vollertsen Architecture.

The group will discuss the challenges of custom homes, green home design and construction, changing building codes for single- and double-family houses, and new technologies. The session is free, but please register with the BSA by June 18. The Committee will meet at BSA headquarters at 8am.
