kansas city architects and designers open homes to public

On Sunday, Sept. 14, the American Institute of Architects (AIA) Kansas City chapter will hold its Architects Home Tour, featuring the residences of four architects and designers in the greater Kansas City, Mo., and Kansas City, Kan., metropolitan area. The tour will stop at the homes of Jamie Darnell, AIA, LEED AP, and of Doug Stockman, both principals at el dorado (for more on the firm, click here); Randy Kietzman of R.J. Kietzman Architect; and Laura Lesniewski, AIA, LEED AP, of BNIM Architects.

The homes will be open from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Tickets may be purchased at the door of each home for $5; tour three homes and receive free admission to the fourth. For more information, visit www.aiakc.org/chapter_evets.asp#event302.
