Design Details: Wood Windows

Few elements in a home are as universally agreeable as a wood window. In traditional designs, wood windows lend a sense of quality and classic good looks. In modern homes, incorporating wood windows adds warmth while maintaining a natural palette that stays in-step with metal and concrete. As some of the examples in our slideshow illustrate, even large expanses of glass can benefit from wood, which can serve to subtly frame views or create bold designs.
