AIA CRAN Heads to Austin for Annual Symposium

AIA's Custom Residential Architect's Network will hold its 2010 symposium—"Looking Back to Move Forward"—Oct. 1-4 at the Hilton in Austin.

The Custom Residential Architect’s Network (CRAN) of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) will hold its third annual symposium Oct. 1–4, 2010, at the Hilton Hotel Downtown in Austin, Texas.

residential architect‘s editorial director, Claire Conroy, will deliver the keynote address—”Looking Back to Move Forward”—on Oct. 2, which will be followed by a roundtable discussion focused on the influence of the host city’s regional preferences and sustainable ethos.

Along with the AIA Austin Homes Tour, CRAN’s 2010 symposium will include several timely sessions and discussions, such as “The End of Stick Built?”, “BIM: Is It Prime Time Yet?”, and a roundtable on “Successful Business Strategies.”
