OOS Tables From Studio248

Hardware-free joints and reflective surfaces make for a study in material usage

Studio 248 highlights the simplicity of weight-bearing connections in furniture construction through the hardware-free joints of its OOS collection. A slit in the tables’ wood legs hold the metal surface plate parallel to the floor without using a screw, while their multiple surfaces make the joint a recurring feature. The collection’s ceiling lamp keeps the joint but inverts the table concept, using the metal plate to reflect and enhance its lighting capacity. Studio248, www.studio248.com.
