New Online Color Tool by Sherwin Wiliiams

1 MIN READ

Sherwin-Williams recently launched a new online color tool called Chip It. The digital tool analyzes and matches the colors from any online image and provides coordinating paint chips from more than 1,500 of the company’s hues. Chip It can evaluate the colors of images by URL, or it can be added to a browser toolbar or Facebook page where users can roll the cursor over their preferred images. A five-color primary palette is generated from the photo, and secondary hues are offered as optional accents based on image details. The resulting paint chip card, which can be saved in an online portfolio, can be used to find paint colors that re-create the atmosphere of the image. Have that favorite vacation photo matched at www.letschipit.com.
