For small spaces where storage space is at a premium, melding efficiency and design often is a challenge. The As If From Nowhere collection, by Irish design up-and-comer Orla Reynolds, combines the concepts of lightweight design and multifunction into a modular bookcase that houses a colorful dining set. The four dining chairs and two tables slide into interstitial spaces carved out of the bookcase’s white frame, which includes divots to allow for the furniture’s easy removal.
