Jorge Daniel Veneciano Named New Director of the Museum of Arts and Design

Veneciano will take the helm of the New York museum in October.

The Museum of Arts and Design in New York City announced today that Jorge Daniel Veneciano will become the museum’s new Nanette L. Laitman director beginning on Oct. 3, and will replace former director Glenn Adamson. El Museo del Barrio, the museum where Veneciano had served as executive director since 2014, announced last month that he would be leaving. Veneciano previously worked as the director of the Sheldon Museum of Art.
